When Andrea Ricci designed the first Twin Pulse unit, he had only one goal in mind: to build the best dynamic headphone in the world and to do so, he had to face the biggest limit of a dynamic headphone: the speed in transients.

Twin Pulse is made entirely of aluminum and provides for a complex management of pressure flows through specially designed and filtered ducts to guarantee comfort and acoustic insulation.

You will listen to your favorite music from an all-Italian perspective, characterized by a passionate, explosive and refined sound.

Our new high performance drive is treated against resonance with Dynamat Tm and thanks to our Pad VSP it makes the transient response of the Twin Pulse very fast.

 



In an aluminum structure machined from billet by high-precision CNC machinery, the complex Twin Pulse isobaric system is rebuilt in miniature.

For the first time the dual drive isobaric technique is applied to a in-ear monitor to obtain a motor unit with an exceptional performance package in terms of acceleration and drive motion control during the sound transient.

 

 

Twin Pulse offers playback linearity calibrated on isophonic Fletcher-Munson curves (of equal sensitivity to the human ear) and can therefore be used as a reference tool to verify the timbre reliability of a recording.

 


 

 

Twin Pulse doesn’t interpret sound but reproduces it faithfully, so it will be essential to select the components of the audio chain to make the most of its transparency and dynamics.

A MECHANICALLY COMPLEX SOLUTION INSTEAD OF A COMPLICATED ACOUSTIC DESIGN.

In the Beryllium Twin Pulse IEM you will find only one type of very high quality driver that will consistently handle the entire audio range in order to give you a naturalness rare for this type of product.

 

 

The Twin Pulse Motor Assembly, in fact employs two identical 10 mm micro drivers with powerful neodymium magnets and Beryllium-treated membranes that act synchronously over the entire audio range, zeroing out typical micro-acoustic problems and dangerous phase interference.

 


 

A STRATEGIC CHOICE TO ENSURE NATURALNESS AND EFFICIENCY

One of the acoustic advantages of our wideband in-ear monitor system over a multi-way system comes from the absence of a crossover filter.

This type of filter is responsible for sending the portion of the audio range within its competence to the individual speakers and is greatly affected by the quality of its components. In addition, crossover points generate complex overlaps of the same sound reproduced by different speakers, which our brain interprets as reproduced sound and not the sound of an actual event

 

AERODYNAMICS EMBEDDED IN AN INERTIAL FRAME

Our inertial frame concept adapts to the world of in-ear monitors by optimizing the aerodynamics of the air flows that conduct sound to our ears.

 


 

The design of the Sound Extractor has been optimized to minimize aerodynamic turbulence phenomenon generated by the piston movement of the speaker's moving assembly.

 

 

The frame of the new Beryllium Twin Pulse IEMs has been calibrated to have a high resistance to dynamic stresses and adequate mass to achieve inertial frame requirements.

 

 

anti-resonant treatment of the inertial frame is delegated to a series of Texalium composite inserts.

 

 

The ventilated pad that has always characterized Andrea Ricci's acoustic designs evolves into the Micro Ventilation Pad System.

In order to calibrate the complex interplay of pressures generated in the acoustic chambers of the Twin Pulse system, it was necessary to rethink the micro frame from scratch so as to ensure the dissipation of the extra pressures when inserting the In-ear monitor into the ear.

 


The Micro VPS allows you to select different sound signatures according to your needs by changing the front filter.

 

 

In the accompanying metal display stand, you will find three filter types marked with the color gray for a linear studio response, red for a response with +3dB in the low range, and black for a response with -3dB in the low range.



 


We have designed to a full set of Eartips to meet the tastes of our clients but the design sound is only with the memory foam eartips.



The designer's word...


When I thought about making an in-ear monitor that would match our flagship products, I had to contend with many issues inherent in this technology. Probably the most insidious, lies in the fact that the airtightness of different types of Eartips, can transfigure the design sound making the experience forking. 

In exchange this variance offers the enthusiast an additional parameter of sound customization.

But how to guarantee the professional client a reliable result?

After extensive experimentation, I decided to establish a firm point: the design sound must be achieved with a high level of air tightness, which in this case consists of the memory Foam Eartips provided in three sizes.

This technology allows them to conform perfectly to the geometry of our ear canal, filling in the gaps and exerting uniform pressure on the cartilage of our ear, ensuring optimal comfort even with long listening sessions.

Spirit cabling is an integral part of the project

We devote a lot of attention to the development of the cables because they greatly influence the final tuning of our headphones.

 

 

The delicate balance that will allow you to hear the timbre of a Stradivarius or the stringing of the skin of a drum has been fine-tuned through hundreds of listening hours.

 

 

 

Inside the package, you will find two wiring harnesses of the same quality but with balanced 4.4 jack and unbalanced 3.5 jack terminations to which is added a 6.3mm jack adapter made to our specifications.

 

The Packaging we have designed for our new In-ear Monitors includes an outer box with a magnetic closure where all accessories and cables are stored as well as a fine leather case that will allow you to include your chosen set in your travels
